The juice from the onions has an expectorant effect and ensures that we can cough up properly. This home remedy is a great cough suppressant that provides quick relief.
|Finely dice the onion and add to the bowl. Add enough water until the onions float in it. Then add 4-5 tablespoons of honey / sugar and stir everything well. This mixture is left to stand in the refrigerator for 2 hours.||Now you should take 2-3 spoons of this onion juice 3 times a day. Make sure that you really only have the juice on the spoon.|
Onion juice / onion syrup for coughs or colds is a great, simple and effective home remedy. The taste is not exactly delicious, but what doesn’t taste good helps, as is well known. The stuck mucus can be loosened by the antispasmodic effect of the essential oils. Ginger tea or inhaling with a ginger infusion is the method of choice.
